Sunday School

THE BELIEVERS
In room 200 you’ll find the Believers’ Class - full of laughter and thought. We invite any adult to join our class since we have members of all ages - 20's through 70s. We are a very diverse group - professional business leaders, retirees, teachers, clerks, domestic engineers, professional fishing guides, nurses, roofers, volunteers, administrative assistants, cooks, counselors, vets, builders, animal lovers and above all, Believers in Jesus Christ. We believe in empowering others to disciple and be the body of Jesus.

Under the guidance of Linda Barker, the Believers’ Class is currently studying Is There Life After Stress by James W. Moore. We’d love to have you visit! Young, old, married, not – we don’t care! You are welcome here. 9:45 am Sundays.

THE COMMISSIONERS
is a new Sunday school class led by Misti Bondhus and Mike Jared. They meet in room 117, and average attendance is 7 to 15 each Sunday. The age range is 20s-40s. This group is hungry for more of God’s word, and their goal is to go out and make Disciples of Christ. Their study at this time covers everything from prayer to John Wesley and church doctrine & structure. They invite you to join them any Sunday at 9:45 am and Commissioners II meets at 11:00 am.

THE ENCOURAGERS
is an established Sunday school class led by Leisa Pittman. They meet in room 102 and are currently discussing the Gospel of Luke. They have 8 members, couples in the age range of 40-50, and invite anyone seeking to study God’s word to join them.

THE EXPLORERS
is a mixed group of 20-25 with a wide age range. We are committed Christians looking for God's answers in a world of questions. We are currently studying "Is There Life After Stress?" and would love to have you visit us. We meet in Room 202 every Sunday at 9:45 A.M. for a time of fellowship, prayer, and study. We are serious about the Word, but we also like to have fun. The first Sunday of the month we have food and fellowship to celebrate the birthdays for that month. And, of course, we have the yearly "Dirty Santa" Christmas party, which is lots of good, clean fun. If you haven't found the exact spot where you fit, come see us. Our door is always open to visitors.

A NEW SONG
A New Song class meets in room 118 at 9:45 a.m. every Sunday. Led by our very dedicated teacher, Otis Preslar, we have been delving into Romans. We have about 10-12 current members. If you are looking for a deeper bible study, leading to a deeper relationship to Christ our savior, join us any Sunday. All are welcome.

THE WESLEY The Wesley Sunday School Class is a mixed group of older adults of age fifty and up -- couples and singles. Our Sunday School hour is filled with a social time including refreshments, a short business meeting, a time of prayer, singing of hymns, and a full 45 minutes of study and discussion using the Adult Bible Studies Literature. We meet in Room 204 every Sunday at 9:45 A.M. The class enjoys breakfast together at a local restaurant once each quarter and a Christmas party at a member's home each Christmas. The door is always open to guests and we would love for you to come check us out -- or ask Kathryn Shackelford, Mary Scudder, or Ruth Phillips about the class. We've got a seat saved especially for you! Sunday School is a great "entry point" into the life of Piney Grove.
