The High-Five Zone program opened in the fall of 2000 with about 12 children. Currently, we have 67 children K-6^th grade enrolled in this exciting after-school program. The success of our program can be found in the support we receive from Piney Grove United Methodist Church in providing a safe environment for the children, the wonderful staff who provide a caring environment, and the children/clientele we serve.

Our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing place for children of working parents in a Christian setting that promotes social, spiritual, emotional, intellectual, creative and physical growth.

After arriving at the center via a Lake Hamilton School bus, the children receive a healthy snack, have an opportunity for outside play time, and then have free choice for art, homework/computers, and music/science. You will find many happily engaged children when you enter the center.

We were pleased to receive state accreditation in April 2008. This means the children are receiving quality care according to Arkansas standards.

A summer camp is offered for school-age children. This "FUN IN THE SON" program is an opportunity for children to experience many exciting activities including field trips and special guests during the summer.
